I feel the need, the need for speed!

August 12, 2010

Oh, I remember these days….  days when the boys were happy doubling up on a little 4-wheeler.  Of course, they couldn’t go too fast seeing as how bogged down the little quad was – putting two 30 plus pound kids on a toy meant for one 30 pound kid max resulted in slow speeds.  This made a mama happy.

Those days are gone.  So gone.  Now, the goal is to drive around in circles in the Jeep as fast as you can with a new battery and see if you can fling brother out the side.  We most definitely enforce the seat belt rule for the “little” one just for that reason.

It was one thing for Nolan to take a liking to the 50.  I was ready for that.  The boy has his own helmet, goggles (gobbles according to him), and gloves.  He can’t quite ride it by himself, a small issue with not being able to reach the pegs, but that doesn’t stop him from demanding that daddy quit whatever he’s doing at that moment and take Nolan for a ride.  Cooper on the other hand….  well, I’m just not sure I’m ready for that quite yet.

Judging by those smiles though, it looks like mama’s just going to have to get over it.  Guess I’ll just have to find another little people helmet – and soon!

Oh my, I swear Nolan’s tongue out face is a look he will be flashing you while he’s pulling a superman and flying through the air. I’m worried for you friend, these boys look like trouble…adorable…but trouble 🙂 But I know your the best to handle it, you were meant for boys, cuz you keep it together so well.
