A little bit of Easter.

April 15, 2009

Although this Easter was technically Nolan’s second one, it was the first Easter where he could actually participate in the festivities.

Saturday, we hit up the town Easter Egg Hunt in Baker.  Nolan managed to walk away with about 7 eggs.  He did great with getting to an egg and grabbing it, but wasn’t too excited about having to put it in the basket.  After some encouragement (and ok, we might have taken one or two out of his hands to free them up), he would give them up and go on to find another one.  The hunt was complete madness and lasted all of about 5 minutes from start to finish.  Here are a few photos of the event.  I’ll post more later – these are the ones I had on my camera, but Brandon’s dad was the main picture taker and I’ll post some of the ones he took when I get them.

Notice Nolan’s face in these next couple of photos.  He was NOT a fan of the Easter Bunny.  We tried several times, all resulting in Nolan yelling at the poor Bunny.  He would play with his ball around the Bunny, then walk towards the Bunny, and just when we thought he was going to be nice, he’d yell at the Bunny.  It was one of the funnier things I’ve seen.

I’m with Nolan – that Bunny is frightening!! Look at those crazy eyes, that “eat the egg OR ELSE!” attitude. I would have screamed, too. Kids are too smart.

Ditto — the Easter Bunny is a bit on the creepy side. I would have yelled, too 😉

Nolan looks amazing in red, FYI.
