Weekend on the Track.
Mini bike track, that is.
With sunshine and temps in the 60’s, it was a weekend spent outside – while it wasn’t windy anyhow, that wind can still make it pretty darn cold. While I went to get my studs off Saturday morning (and enjoyed a cup of tea and a scone at a cute little cafe while waiting for the job to be done), Brandon and Nolan played worked on the track. We had some friends stop by to play help out and the track is really starting to take shape. Here are some photos of the track progress.
It’s hard to tell in this photo, but here’s most of the family in the backhoe – Hannah’s to the left of me and Nolan’s to the right of Brandon, the glare on the windows shades them a bit. It’s a family affair. Hannah is usually always in the backhoe with Brandon – she even has her own little spot near the dash so she can see everything that’s going on.
Riding with a backdrop of that mountain makes it just that more enjoyable.
Nolan had a blast riding around with his Daddy. I can already see how much trouble we’re going to be in when he gets older.
Yay for sunshine! I’m hoping it’s here to stay. Now if we can just get some temps in the 70’s with no wind…..
