Turkey Day Re-Cap

December 10, 2008

Sorry folks, I know I promissed to do some blogging, and I am, but this one’s going to be short and sweet. Since we got back last Tuesday from New York, things have been going non-stop. I still don’t have my Christmas tree up yet (which is a whole story in itself, but will be remedied by this weekend) and there are just too many things on my “to-do” list to keep up with, so I’m going to be pretty brief from now until probably the end of the year.

Our trip to NY was great! We were able to visit with good friends, see the city again, enjoy Thanksgiving, take in a football game, and spend a week not working on the house (what more can a girl ask for)! Nolan did pretty darn well for the cross-country flight, flirting with anyone that would look at him on the flights. Nolan also got to meet his friend Kate, who is 3 days younger than him (Nolan actually came on Kate’s due date, and Kate made her debut on Nolan’s due date). These two were a crack up!

Oddly enough, someone actually thought they were twins – now when you see the photos below, you’ll notice that the only thing they have in common is their larger-than-average size and that they’re pretty darn adorable, other than that, they’re VERY different. I think this assumption was made due to the fact that I apparently look entirely too young to have Nolan, which of course is the result in many dirt looks from people thinking that I am a 14 year old hussey. Ok, getting off topic here…. below are some photos of our trip.

Too sweet. And it’s true, you do look too young to have a baby. Believe me, enjoy it, ’cause it won’t last forever. And how funny are those two babies? Sounds like the trade off of not having turkey leftovers was worth it for so much fun with good friends.
