We have graduated!!
It’s official – the co-sleeper is now packed up (thank you, thank you, thank you, Sarah!) and Mr. Nolan is sleeping in his crib. Why the delay, you ask? Well, the crib became quite the project…. we’re using the crib that Brandon, his sister, his dad, and his aunts and uncle all used. That being said, it needed some revamping to meet today’s safety standards and my color scheme (yes, very picky, I know). Brandon’s dad spent many days stripping, sanding, staining, and restructuring the crib – and it is now done!! So excited, I can’t even tell you – and Nolan seems to love it, played in it for quite a bit yesterday just for giggles. I think he’s just thrilled to have the extra room – the little toad was pretty crammed in the co-sleeper.
This last weekend was a bit on the toasty side, so we decided to run to the lake (a whole 15-20 minute drive) to relieve the dogs and do some cooling off. And of course, it’s not a trip to the lake without Hannah doing some diving under water and then finding something dead to roll in.
